This event is a call to action for artists, arts practitioners and leaders, to commit to finding more ethical, consensual ways to create work together and connect with audiences.

Join International Day of Consent founder, Jenn Wilson, and other arts professionals who are exploring and innovating consent practices.

*Provocations include:

>> Practicing consent and bodily autonomy, with visually impaired dancers – Sandrine Monin (Unbound Dance)

>> Managing mental well-being whilst making autobiographical work – Sid Akbar (Dhamaka Arts)
>> “Making” rather than “taking” a photograph – Carolyn Mendelsohn

>> Why no space can really be a ‘safe space’ – Jen Toksvig (The Copenhagen Interpretation)
>> Site specific work: who’s hosting this space? - Dr Alison Andrews (University of Leeds)

>> Grasssroots approaches to consent in burlesque - Jacki Willson (University of Leeds)

Plus - at 2pm Irregular Arts presents The Odd Adventure - a unique scratch performance by Jenn Wilson and Alison Andrews, exploring and navigating consent and audience stimulation!
